Due to the individualized nature of these exclusive one-to-one workshops, it is impossible to detail what you will encounter upon enrollment.  Working directly with me to create your individual program, you will have strong input as to what the program will consist of, and how you will approach the material and setting and be approached by it.

The base structure of all the material provided comes from the work of many notable counselors, educators, and therapists,  as well as my own work.  Some of the names you will be presented with include: Maslow, Keyes, Erickson, Satir,  Grander, Wilbur, Rogers, Prochaska, Proudfoot, and Botten.

You can expect to do a lot of talking about yourself and how you view your life and environment.  You can expect a great deal of feedback from me as well as constructive criticism.  You can expect me to call you on your evasions, subterfuge, defenses, denials, ......essentially, all your bull!!  You can expect me to be both compassionate and empathetic.  You can also expect me to be blunt, clear, direct, determined, and unwavering.  In other words, I will be tough!

You can expect to have numerous challenges to your patterns of thought, numerous challenges to your ideas and ideals, numerous assignments for reading, writing, and expressing, and numerous opportunities to grow.

You will learn about the nature of thought and just why it is the true addiction while substances and behaviours are secondary.  You will learn about the lower and higher levels of thought and how to transform the lower into the higher.  You will learn how to change demands into preferences and experience a profound shift in your outlook on life and living.  You will learn how thought addiction destroys relationships and how to correct this, in turn, creating loving, caring, nurturing, expressive and wholesome relationships.  And, most surprisingly, you will discover that you do not necessarily have to give up anything in order to be free from something.

Most of all, you will learn how to use your own power and intellect to create your own recovery and future growth.  That is quite alot to expect....and it is all possible when you enroll and put yourself to the task of this wonderful adventure.
